You achieve this effect with special cone-shaped backflow cones that channel the heavier smoke down through an inner pathway. Within a few seconds of lighting the cone, a thin white stream of smoke begins to descend beside the elephant and gently spreads across the tabletop. Thin incense sticks may also be used, in which case you can enjoy the classical upward-rising smoke.
