Sound and character
This accessory does not produce sound itself, but it preserves the voice of the instrument it was made for. The well-padded bag absorbs minor knocks and shields the drum from temperature swings, which matters especially for the finely tuned tongues. As a result the warm, full tone of the Baba Tong stays stable over time.
How to use
The bag is designed specifically for the 10-tone Baba Tong slit drum and comes with both a shoulder strap and a carry handle. The external pocket easily fits the mallets and — when available — the foam feet, which let you play the drum on a table or on the floor. (Currently shipped without feet.)
Why this product
- Cut precisely to the Baba Tong dimensions
- External pocket for the mallets
- Strong zippers, dark brown finish
- Lightweight yet well-padded protection
Care tips
Always store the instrument inside the bag when not in use and avoid leaving it in direct sunlight or near heaters. Never put a damp instrument back into the bag — let it dry first. The shoulder strap can pose a strangulation hazard around children, so keep this in mind at all times.
