An organic massage balm bringing the tradition of India to you
Ayurvenat massage balm is a French organic product inspired by the Indian Ayurvedic approach. Extracts of eighteen herbs are blended into the shea butter and coconut oil base: ashwagandha, brahmi, neem, turmeric, ginger, sandalwood and other plants known in Ayurvedic texts for centuries. You receive a rich, warming, gently scented balm with which you can perform your own evening massage, or pamper each other with your partner.
How to work the balm into your skin
After a warm bath or shower, when the pores are open, take a walnut-sized portion. Place it in your palm and warm it with the heat of your hands — the balm becomes easier to spread that way. Start the massage at your shoulder, then move downward: base of the neck, between the shoulder blades, waist, hip, back of the thigh, calf. Work with long, smoothing motions, directing the strokes towards the heart. Plan 15-20 minutes for a full body massage.
What else the balm is good for
You can use it in a targeted way too — on a tired shoulder, a stiff neck after a coffee break, or your forearm at the end of long typing. According to the Ayurvedic tradition, the morning „abhyanga” — self-massage — is a slow, mindful start to the day; for this it is also a good choice. The use need not be scientific: a 10-minute self-massage before bed can be calming as well.
Who this is recommended for
For adults who like natural cosmetics and are open to the Ayurvedic tradition; for couples wanting a shared evening ritual; for yoga practitioners and massage professionals looking for an organic balm; for older people whose dry skin needs care. For pregnant women and children under three, due to the essential oil content, use only after medical consultation.
Storage
Keep in a cool, dark place. The shea butter and coconut oil base may soften on a warm summer day, but this does not affect quality — returned to a cool place, it firms up again. Unopened until the printed date; once opened, use within 6-12 months.
