Ayurvedic White Sage Backflow Incense Cones – Box of 10

Indian Ayurvedic white sage backflow incense cones, 10 pcs / box, cone approx. 1 × 3 cm. For backflow burners only. Clean, herbal scent. One cone about 15 minut

These white sage backflow incense cones come in a box of 10 from India, built on an Ayurvedic plant base. Each cone measures about 1 × 3 centimetres. Many families use the clean, herbal scent of white sage to refresh and air out a room – with these cones you can have that same character of scent paired with a striking downward cascade of smoke, on a backflow burner.

Where white sage and Ayurveda meet

White sage is a plant of North American origin, traditionally used in smudging. Ayurveda – the ancient Indian science of living – also recognises the power of plant scents to clear a space and lift the mood. This cone brings the two traditions together: an Indian Ayurvedic base carries the clean, lightly herbal, faintly citrus scent of white sage.

For backflow burners only

The cone is made with an internal vertical channel. The warmed, dense smoke flows downwards inside the channel, and cascades through the deep central well of a backflow burner. On a traditional incense holder this effect is lost – the smoke would simply rise. If you do not yet own a backflow burner, it is worth choosing one from our range before ordering this cone.

How to use it

Place the cone on a heat-resistant surface, light the top, wait 1–2 minutes until it burns with a steady ember, then blow it out. Set it on top of the burner so the small opening at the base of the cone aligns with the burner's opening. The smoke will begin to flow downwards soon after. One cone burns for about 15 minutes, which is enough for a medium-sized room.

When this scent suits your home

White sage is widely felt as cleansing and refreshing. Many families light a cone after coming home in the evening, so the tension of work, the street or a difficult conversation leaves the space. It also works well after moving in, after a deep clean, or after a longer absence. For morning meditation it offers a brighter, livelier scent than sandalwood.

Safety and storage

Never leave a burning cone unattended. Place the burner on a heat-resistant base and keep it away from children and pets. Store the opened box in a dry, cool place so the cones do not dry out and keep their fresh aroma. Ventilate during and after use, especially if a family member is asthmatic or has sensitive airways.
