The Vata type and the role of scents
In Ayurvedic tradition Vata is the quality of movement, lightness and change. Classical thinking suggests warming, calming and grounding fragrances for the Vata type. This candle gives you exactly such a warming, soothing scent experience with its tuberose and jasmine pairing. After purchase it is worth taking a quick look at the detailed description, because it contains useful information for everyday use.
The character of tuberose and jasmine
Tuberose is a creamy, deeply floral and somewhat exotic scent that warmly envelops the room. Jasmine also brings a sweet, white floral note and lifts the tuberose. Together the two scents create a deep, feminine and restful mood during the evening hours.
Where and when it works best
We recommend it for bedrooms, bathrooms, evening relaxation, after yoga and meditation, or romantic occasions. It is less ideal for a rushed morning because its character is deep and slow to unfold. In cooler evenings the warming floral mood shows itself especially nicely.
First-use steps
On the first lighting, let the wax surface become fully liquid, which takes 1.5-2 hours. This prevents a cavity from forming. Trim the wick to 5 millimetres before each lighting for a cleaner flame and less sooting.
Safety and storage
Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep it away from children, pets and flammable materials. Place it on a flat, heat-resistant surface. When not in use, store the candle in a closed place protected from light so the fragrance stays fresh.
