Ayurvedic Nag Champa Backflow Incense Cones – Box of 10

Indian Ayurvedic Nag Champa backflow incense cones, 10 pcs / box, cone approx. 1 × 3 cm. For backflow burners only. Floral, creamy, slightly sweet scent.

Nag Champa is one of the most recognisable classics among Indian incense scents – it is the reason many people first walk into an esoteric shop. This box holds 10 backflow cones on an Ayurvedic plant base, made in India. Each cone is about 1 × 3 cm. The characteristic Nag Champa aroma – floral, creamy, slightly sweet – combined with the downward cascade of smoke creates a deeply atmospheric setting at home.

What the Nag Champa scent actually is

Nag Champa is the name of a traditional Indian incense blend whose central note is the champak flower (Plumeria), supported by spices and resins. The scent is floral, creamy and slightly sweet, and many people know it as the smell of meditation or a temple atmosphere. Built onto the Ayurvedic plant base, this cone carries the scent back into your home.

For backflow burners only

A vertical channel runs down inside the cone; the warmed smoke inside it is heavier than the surrounding air, so it flows downwards. On a backflow burner, the deep central well guides the smoke further and it cascades down the side. On a regular incense holder the effect is lost. It is worth confirming that you have a backflow burner at home before purchase.

How to use it

Set the cone on a heat-resistant surface, light the top, wait 1–2 minutes until it burns with a steady ember, then blow it out. Place it on top of the burner so the opening at the base of the cone aligns with the burner's opening. The smoke will begin to flow downwards shortly after. One cone burns for about 15 minutes, so the box gives roughly 2.5 hours of burning time in total.

When Nag Champa suits your home

The scent is classic, warm and slightly sweet – for many it brings back memories from childhood or younger years. It is well suited to evening meditation, yoga practice, quiet reading, or a peaceful evening with guests. It also pairs nicely with a Sunday-morning ritual at home. If you only know the classic Nag Champa incense sticks, here you meet the same character of scent in a new form.

Safety and storage

Never leave a burning cone unattended. Place the burner on a heat-resistant base and keep it away from children and pets. Store the opened box in a dry, cool place so the scent does not dry out. Ventilate during and after use. If a family member is asthmatic or has sensitive airways, use it less often and only in a well-ventilated room.
