The essence of ayurvedic masala incense
Masala incense sticks are hand-rolled in India from a blend of natural herbs, flowers, honey, resins and oils. Thanks to the masala technique, the fragrance is deep and full, and the stick burns for a long time. The sticks are 23 cm long and one stick smoulders for about 60 minutes on average.
The Meditation blend
This variant has been composed for quiet, inward-turning moments. It is a warm, resinous, slightly spicy scent that helps quieten thoughts and create a calm atmosphere. Choose it if you meditate, practise yoga or breathing exercises regularly, or simply want to set up a quiet corner at home.
Origin and tradition
The sticks are made in India according to the ayurvedic tradition. Ayurveda views life and health as the balance of three energies – Vata, Pitta and Kapha – and incense has been used for millennia to help harmonise these energies. The masala technique is an important part of this tradition because it relies on real, natural ingredients rather than hidden synthetic fragrance.
Pack size and storage
The pack contains 15 sticks. After opening, store it in a closed package in a cool, dry place – this way the fragrance retains its richness for a long time.
Use and safety
Place the stick in a suitable heat-resistant holder, light the upper end, and blow out the flame after a few seconds so that it smoulders evenly. Keep away from children and pets and never leave a burning stick unattended.
