What ayurvedic masala incense is
Masala incense sticks are produced in India by hand-rolling. They are based on a natural mixture of herbs, flowers, honey, resins and essential oils. This type of incense gives a particularly deep and long-lasting fragrance, while remaining free of toxic materials. The sticks are 23 cm long and one stick smoulders for about 60 minutes on average.
The Chakra scent blend
The Chakra variant is designed for those who wish to tune into the inner flow of their body and attention. The scent is rounded, slightly spicy and floral, accompanying quiet sitting, breathing practice or rituals at home. Tradition holds that the seven main chakras are meeting points of the body's energy channels, and the fragrance of the incense helps the inward turn.
Origin and quality
The sticks are hand-rolled in India according to the ayurvedic tradition. The essence of the masala technique is that plant ingredients are mixed into the body of the stick rather than just being applied as a surface coating. They contain no toxic substances, and each stick may show small natural differences – this is the result of handmade production.
Pack size and storage
The pack contains 15 sticks. Store in a cool, dry place in a closed package so the fragrance retains its richness for a long time.
Use and safety
Place the lower end of the stick into a heat-resistant holder so that ash does not fall on the surface. Light the upper end and, after extinguishing the flame, let it smoulder evenly. Never leave a burning stick unattended and keep it away from children and pets.
