Prehnite is a pale green, porcelain-lustred mineral found in the mineral-rich mountain ranges of Morocco. This selection contains 34-79 small prehnite mineral specimens — the exact piece count depends on the size of the pieces. Suitable for collectors, crystal therapy use, as a base material for jewellery-making, or for decorative display.

The prehnite mineral

Prehnite (Ca2Al(AlSi3O10)(OH)2) is a silicate mineral recognised by its translucent yellowish-green, pale green, or greyish-white tones. It typically has a glassy lustre, sometimes slightly waxy — this is what makes it distinctive among other green minerals. Morocco is one of the most well-known prehnite sources in Africa; the pieces from here are natural, untreated mineral specimens.

What are the small prehnite pieces good for?

Among crystal collectors, prehnite is considered a stone of the heart's spark and foresight — many use it for meditation, spiritual work, or creating a harmonious home atmosphere. Their small size makes them easy to hold in the hand, carry in a pocket, or arrange in a beautiful composition in a decorative bowl, jewellery box, or display cabinet.

Why does the piece count vary?

The batch is sorted by weight, so the exact piece count varies depending on the size and shape of the pieces — smaller pieces will yield more, larger ones fewer. The weight is approx. 1 kg. Each individual piece is a unique natural mineral with the patterns of nature visible on it.
