Myrrh – the ceremonial scent of ancient times
Myrrh is a reddish-brown resin obtained from the bark of the Commiphora tree. It has been used for millennia in rituals and spiritual occasions, often together with frankincense. The Aromafume incense brick brings this mood back, while you experience no smoke at all. The earthy, gently sweet aroma feels deeply homely.
How the incense brick works
You do not light the brick; instead it is warmed by a special Aromafume diffuser placed over a tealight. The rising heat slowly releases the aroma, allowing the scent compounds to spread gently. One brick gives its aroma for around 45-60 minutes. The 40 g cardboard box contains nine bricks, enough for many occasions.
When we recommend it
Myrrh suits evening relaxation, meditation sessions and quiet reading especially well. It gives the room a deep, calming character, and many find it helps with settling down before sleep. You may combine it with other bricks in the range for a more varied scent journey.
Why people love the myrrh aroma
Myrrh has a characteristic earthy-smokey nature with a gentle, sweet undertone. The blend includes aromatic woods, natural barks, resins and flower petals – all carefully selected to bring the ancient aroma experience into a modern, hygienic, smoke-free form.
Storage and safety
Store the bricks in a cool, dry place, away from children. Whenever the tealight is burning, please remain present and do not leave it unattended. The diffuser becomes hot, so do not touch it during use, and only put it away after it has fully cooled. Keep a safe distance from curtains, books and other flammable items.
