The lotus symbol
The lotus is a plant that rises from the mud above the water to open a pure flower, a recurring motif in Eastern art and religion. Tradition knows it as a symbol of purity and spiritual unfolding – an image of rising from the murk toward the light.
Construction and use
The diffuser consists of two ceramic parts: the high-fired base is oil- and water-proof, while the upper, porous part readily absorbs the scent. Drop 3 to 4 drops of essential oil onto the top – the porous stone spreads the aroma for days. Alternatively, pour an alcohol- or water-based fragrance liquid into the base (do not use essential oil for this). It comes without essential oils.
