This angel hovers with open, outstretched wings while holding a heart-shaped faceted crystal. The larger 37 cm form makes a striking suncatcher: in sunlight the crystal scatters the light and fills the room with living rainbows.
The image of open wings
Open wings evoke a gesture of protection and watchful presence. In tradition, angels are known as messengers from the higher realms who bring encouragement and tenderness; many regard them as a symbol of connection with one's own guardian angel. The heart-shaped crystal adds warmth and love.
Feng shui and harmony
Feng shui is a several-thousand-year-old Chinese outlook on the harmony between our surroundings and our well-being. The light-bending, sparkling crystals are associated in tradition with creating a bright, lively atmosphere.
Material and hanging
Made of white metal, about 37 cm tall, with a hooklet and metal chain. It is larger and more striking than the smaller closed-wing version.
Good to know
It gives its loveliest rainbows in direct sunlight; hang it near a window.
Where it fits
In front of a wider window, in a stairwell or a living-room window where the larger form can come into its own. The open wings and the sparkling heart together give a space an intimate yet eye-catching accent — a kind gift for a new home or someone dear.
