A small, hand-carved angel figure in natural green aventurine. The soft, moss-green stone shimmers gently in the light; the palm-sized form is at once ornament and personal symbol, a much-loved gift and a quiet companion on a shelf or desk.
Aventurine, fact and tradition
Aventurine is the greenish variety of quartz whose characteristic fine sparkle comes from tiny embedded flakes of mica (often fuchsite); this effect is called aventurescence. Its hardness is around Mohs 7. In the crystal tradition it is known as a stone of opportunity, growth and confidence, regarded by many as a companion for decision, drive and creativity, all of which is tradition, not medical fact.
The angel as a motif
Angel figures are symbols of care and protection; many keep them close as a quiet reminder of connection with their own guardian angel. The green stone radiates freshness and hope, which suits the angel motif especially well.
Placing and caring for it
The figure is about 3.5 cm; it looks well on a desk, shelf, or a cosy corner, and travels easily. It is carved from a natural mineral, so its pattern and shade are unique. Clean with a soft cloth; strong, prolonged sunlight can fade the green over time.
