350 ml exists so you do not rush your tea, but it also does not sit in the pot for so long that aromas evaporate and bitterness builds. If you enjoy second and third infusions (Chinese gong fu cha style), a small pot is almost essential. It brews for one or two, fresh, aroma intact.
Who is it for?
For people who like warm, earthy colours — brown, orange, amber, mustard. Whose kitchens lean toward the glow of a reading lamp rather than cool white minimalism. As a gift, it suits autumn birthdays, autumn holidays (All Saints', Thanksgiving-style family dinners), or a housewarming.
Brewing tips
Amber almost asks for oolong — use 85-90 °C water with 2-3 minutes steeping and try 3-4 infusions from the same leaves. For black tea, 90-95 °C and 3-5 minutes. For pu-erh, 95 °C in short 30-second infusions. Before brewing, “wake” the pot with hot water.
Care and cleaning
Dishwasher-safe, but hand washing treats the glaze more kindly. Do not use abrasive pads. If you frequently brew strong teas (pu-erh, Assam) the interior will develop a natural patina — in many tea cultures this is prized, but if you prefer a clean interior, a light baking-soda soak will lift it. Store with the lid set aside, dry.
