The two stones
Amazonite is the green-blue variety of microcline feldspar, with a soft, soothing shade and often a fine, whitish veining; its Mohs hardness is around 6 to 6.5. Tradition knows it as a stone of cheer, balance and clear communication. Hematite is an iron oxide mineral (Fe₂O₃) with a distinctive metallic, silvery-grey gleam and a surprising heft; the gold-coloured beads are coated by physical vapour deposition (PVD), which gives a durable, subtle golden tone. Crystal tradition knows it as a stone of focus and balance. These are traditions, not medical promises.
Two bracelets, many ways
The calm turquoise-green and the cool metallic make a fresh, balanced pair. Layered on one wrist the two bracelets are lively; worn apart they are more understated. They also make a lovely joint gift.
Care
Wipe them with a soft cloth and protect them from prolonged moisture and chemicals – hematite is sensitive to moisture. Each piece is unique: the shade and veining of the amazonite vary a little.
