50 pcs - Aluminium Tin for Cosmetics

Aluminium tin with screw lid — for lip balm, body balm, face cream and solid perfume. Reusable, durable and cosmetic-grade.

The aluminium tin is one of the favourite packaging choices of natural cosmetics makers. It is lightweight, unbreakable, corrosion-resistant, and fully recyclable — and the metal itself provides excellent UV-blocking. This pack of 50 is designed for small business owners and home cosmetics makers who fill solid cosmetics, lip balm, cream concentrate, or sample storage tins in series.

What you can use the 50-piece aluminium tin set for

50 aluminium tins with screw lids, typical dimensions 30 mm tall and 60 mm in diameter (approximately 50 ml capacity). Net weight of a single tin + lid is 6 g, and the total package gross weight is 0.3 kg. The advantage of a large quantity is not only in the per-unit cost — you can also more easily assemble a cohesive, matching series for your own-brand product.

Aluminium material and its advantages

Aluminium is chemically inert, corrosion-resistant, BPA-free, and contains none of the plasticisers that can occasionally be a concern with plastic tins. The metal is itself UV-blocking — light-sensitive ingredients (essential oils, antioxidants, vitamins) retain their activity much longer when stored in an aluminium tin than in a clear container. The tin is light (around 6 g empty), unbreakable, and fully recyclable — an especially important consideration for natural cosmetics customers.

Screw lid details

The screw lid features an internal sealing gasket that, when tightened, provides a state close to airtight. The thread is fine, so the lid closes and opens completely with just a few turns. The outer surface of the lid is smooth, ideal for accepting own-brand labels or engraving — easily customisable with bespoke graphic solutions.

Typical areas of use

Cleaning and reuse

Before first use, wash with warm water and a mild detergent, then dry completely. Aluminium does not rust, but with prolonged wet storage the surface may develop a matte grey tone — this is not a cosmetic concern, but it can affect appearance. Strongly acidic contents (e.g. high vitamin C concentrate) may attack aluminium over the long term; in such cases glass or plastic tins are the more logical choice. Refillability is practically unlimited if cleaning is thorough between cycles.
