The Cleaneco general surface disinfectant in a 0.5-litre, hand-sized pack is a is a chlorine-free disinfectant that can be used throughout the home. Besides kitchen and bathroom surfaces, it can clean the fridge, the microwave and any waterproof surface.
What it is for
It is used for surface disinfection where increased hygiene is needed. The chlorine-free formula is gentler than chlorine-based products while still providing broad disinfecting action.
Use and contact time
The product must be applied neat, undiluted. Wipe the surface to be disinfected so that no area is left untreated, then let it act for the required contact time: at least 20 minutes for bactericidal and fungicidal action, at least 15 minutes against yeasts.
Composition
Contains: propan-2-ol and alkyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride.
What do the claims mean?
The product is bactericidal and fungicidal, as well as yeasticidal (effective against yeasts), so it acts against bacteria, moulds and yeasts alike. Its formulation is chlorine-free.
Where to use it in the home
It is ideal for disinfecting the points that need extra hygiene: the worktop and the waterproof surfaces around food preparation, the tap, the inside of the fridge and microwave, bathroom tiles, the basin and toilet, and frequently touched surfaces such as door handles and switches. Thanks to its chlorine-free formulation, it leaves no harsh chlorine smell on the treated surface.
Safety and warnings
This is a concentrated disinfectant, so it must be handled with care. Observe the following:
- Causes severe skin burns and eye damage.
- Very toxic to aquatic life, with long-lasting effects.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Wash hands thoroughly after use.
- Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and eye or face protection.
- If it gets in the eyes: rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do, then continue rinsing.
- In case of injury, seek medical advice immediately.
- Dispose of the contents and container in accordance with local, regional, national and international regulations.
