This Feeltone Powwow is a large gathering drum in a flat-rim, double-headed version. Traditional construction: thick hide of regional, partly organic small-farm cattle on a wound beechwood hoop. A disassemblable four-leg stand is included.

Sound and character
The flat-rim Powwow gives a slimmer, more focused sound for its diameter — the double-sided resonance of the hide meets along a shorter path, so the attack is more direct and the bass remains tightly focused. In the low playing position the player and the drum vibrate together, and the sound holds the attention of the group for a long time.
How to use
Assemble the stand, place the drum on it, and sit beside or around it. The aim of ritual drumming is the synchronous, monotonous rhythm that leads to a meditative state. The KF-3 mallets offer a soft touch, so even long sessions do not overload the arm. A good fit for group meditation, circle ritual, full-moon events or shamanic journeys.
Why this product
You are choosing a drum optimised for low, ceremonial use — lower playing position and easier handling. The reinforced stand can be disassembled as often as you wish using sleeves and machine screws, and the four-point suspension made of woven sailing rope ensures a long working life.
Care tips
- Never reach inside the drum or between the tensioning cords — risk of pinching.
- Protect the hide from sudden changes of temperature and humidity.
- Refresh the wooden frame once a year with hard-wax oil.
- The four mallets allow several participants to join the ritual at once.
