A simple, small holder for everyday use
You are not always looking for a decorative, expensive holder — often a modest, reliable piece is exactly what you need. This 25 cm acacia incense holder is just that: lightweight (only 45 g), takes up little space, and accepts exactly one stick. It is stable, so it stands safely even on the edge of a shelf while the glowing stick slowly burns down.
An introduction to the seven chakra symbols
Along the length of the holder, the symbols of the seven main chakras are engraved — from the root chakra to the crown. According to yogic and Hindu tradition, these are energy points along the body, each with its own colour and quality. You do not need to follow this system to enjoy the pattern — many simply find it beautiful and harmonious.
What sticks it is suitable for
The holder is made for thinner incense sticks: Japanese (thin and long), yoga, Marco Polo, archangel, agarbatti, masala and Satya sticks all fit well. For thicker, hand-rolled sticks, wider holders are more suitable.
How to use it
Place it on a flat, heat-resistant surface — for example a ceramic tile or a small tray. Push the stick into the hole so the glowing end is suspended over the length of the holder. This way the falling ash is caught by the holder and does not burn into the shelf. After use, let it cool and then sweep the ash off with a soft cloth.
Small tips for a long life
Thanks to the hardness of acacia, it remains just as stable years later. Avoid wet cleaning — a barely damp wipe is more than enough. Ash stuck between the carvings can easily be removed with a soft toothbrush or a dry small brush. A simple piece intended for everyday use, which will last for a long time.
