Concentrated essential oils and botanical preparations can pose a risk to small children if swallowed or applied to mucous membranes. The push-and-turn mechanism of a child-resistant (CR) cap makes accidental opening much harder, so this pack of 88 50 ml bottles is particularly well suited to products intended for households with children. The green glass also blocks the most damaging UV and blue-light wavelengths.
What is included in this pack of 88
The pack contains 88 50 ml green glass dropper bottles and 88 child-resistant caps. Each bottle is approximately 100 mm tall, 42 mm in diameter and weighs around 70 g net. Gross pack weight is around 6.78 kg. The cap features a standard GL18 thread and a two-step safety mechanism.
Green glass and its light-filtering benefit
Green glass blocks UV rays and the shortest visible blue-light wavelengths, which are responsible for oxidation in essential oils and botanical extracts. It gives the product a visually appealing appearance and is chemically inert, releasing no plasticisers or other migratable substances into the contents. For longer-term storage, it preserves scent profiles significantly better than clear glass.
Child-resistant (CR) cap details
The cap works via a push-and-turn mechanism: you have to press the cap downward and only then can you turn it. This combined motion is difficult for small children but easy to learn and convenient for adults. The cap meets international child-resistant closure standards. Strongly recommended for preparations containing concentrated essential oils, alcoholic tinctures or other substances hazardous to children.

Cleaning and recycling
Wash the empty bottle with warm water and a mild dish soap, then rinse with 70% isopropyl alcohol to remove residual scents. Do not wash the cap mechanism in a dishwasher, as high temperatures and strong detergents may over time damage the safety spring mechanism. Once fully dry, the bottle can be refilled or placed in glass recycling.
