This 88-piece pack of 50 ml clear glass dropper bottles with child-resistant caps is designed for those packaging concentrated, potentially child-hazardous preparations: dietary supplement tinctures, highly concentrated essential oil blends, alcohol-based herbal extracts. The child-resistant cap prevents inquisitive hands from accessing the contents, while you can open it with a simple two-step motion.
What is included in the 88-piece pack
88 clear glass bottles with a nominal 50 ml fill volume and GL18 neck finish, plus 88 child-resistant (CR) polypropylene caps with push-and-turn mechanism. Approximate height 100 mm, diameter 42 mm. Unit net weight 0.07 kg; pack gross weight 6.776 kg. The caps follow the two-step mechanism based on the international child-resistant closure standard (EN ISO 8317).
Clear glass and visibility
Clear (transparent) glass allows the contents to be displayed: colour, clarity, texture are immediately visible on the shelf or in the customer's hand. This is particularly important for products where visual presentation reinforces buyer confidence (e.g. tinctures, infused oils). Note: for photosensitive essential oils (citrus, fresh green oils), amber glass is preferable, as clear glass does not filter UV radiation.
Child-resistant cap details
The child-resistant cap is made of polypropylene in a two-part design (outer ring + inner screw cap). To open, you must simultaneously press down from above and turn — this combined motion is easy for adults but problematic for children under 5. The inner EPE or LDPE liner prevents the escape of volatile components. Screw closure on GL18 thread. The cap is not suitable for autoclaving (may deform above 80°C).
Areas of use
- Concentrated dietary supplement tinctures
- Highly concentrated essential oil blends (with non-sensitive oils)
- Alcohol-based herbal extracts and botanical tinctures
- CBD-containing oils and concentrated serums
- Safe packaging of DIY preparations for households with children
Cleaning and storage
Before washing, disassemble the cap — the outer ring and inner cap can be washed separately. Warm soapy water is sufficient; for strong scent residues use 70% isopropyl alcohol. Do NOT place the polypropylene cap in a dishwasher (it may deform). Store the finished product out of reach of children — child-resistant closures reduce but do not eliminate the risk of accidental access.
