Visual strength of clear glass
In clear glass, the contents are the main attraction: colour, clarity, even floating herb particles or mineral grains all become visible. This transparency builds trust with the end user, as there is nothing hidden behind the packaging. Note: clear glass offers no UV protection, so for photosensitive essential oils (citrus, fresh green notes) we recommend the amber GBOT series instead.
Black screw cap details
The black polypropylene cap is lightweight, shatter-resistant, and provides excellent contrast with the clear glass. It has an inner LDPE or EPE liner that prevents leakage during normal storage and transport. Polypropylene is resistant to most household chemicals and weak acids, but strong monoterpene-rich essential oils (citrus, pine, eucalyptus) can soften it with prolonged contact — for sensitive essential oils we therefore recommend the aluminium-cap (AC) variant. Screw closure on GL18 thread.

Cleaning and storage
Glass and cap can be cleaned separately: hand wash with warm soapy water. The polypropylene cap is NOT dishwasher safe (it may deform at high temperatures). To remove scent residue, use 70% isopropyl alcohol or soak the cap in a baking soda solution for 30 minutes. Store empty bottles in a closed box to keep out dust and foreign contaminants.
