This pack of 88 amber 50 ml bottles paired with aluminium caps is designed for makers who work with essential oils, facial serums, massage oils, and tinctures in meaningful volumes and want every bottle to have a reliable, airtight seal. The aluminium cap is corrosion-resistant, BPA-free, and imparts no off-flavours or odours to the contents.
What the pack of 88 contains
The pack contains 88 amber UV-blocking glass bottles with a nominal fill capacity of 50 ml each, plus 88 matching aluminium caps. Each bottle is approximately 100 mm tall, 42 mm in diameter, and weighs around 50 g empty. The neck is a GL18 standard thread, so the caps are interchangeable with other 18 mm closures. The estimated gross weight of the pack is ~5.3 kg, supplied in a shipping carton with breakage protection.
Amber glass and UV protection
Amber glass filters the UV spectrum and the shorter wavelengths of visible light — these photocatalysts trigger the oxidation of volatile compounds. Stored in amber glass, your essential oils, serums, and tinctures retain their original scent profile, colour, and active ingredient content significantly longer. Glass is chemically inert: it does not react with oils and contains no plasticisers.
About the aluminium cap
The aluminium cap is a solid metal closure with an internal liner. It is corrosion-resistant and chemically inert: it does not react with essential oils and releases no BPA, phthalates, or other migratable plasticisers. Citrus oils and oils with a high monoterpene content — such as lemon, orange, or bergamot — can soften plastic caps over time, whereas aluminium resists these long-term. It provides an airtight, leak-proof seal and is easily recyclable.

Cleaning and refilling
Clean the bottle by soaking in warm water with a neutral detergent, then rinse thoroughly. For stubborn scent residues, rinse with 70% isopropyl alcohol. The aluminium cap can be cleaned the same way, but make sure the internal liner is fully dry before screwing it back on. Avoid the dishwasher, as high heat and alkaline detergents can damage labelling. Properly cleaned glass bottles can be refilled many times.
