If you want to build a flexible packaging solution — using different caps for different applications — it makes sense to source the bottle and the cap separately. This pack of 70 cobalt blue 100 ml dropper bottles is supplied without caps: any closure with a standard GL18 fitting can be chosen. For bottling artisan cosmetics, essential oil blends, and botanical preparations in larger quantities.
What is included in the 70-piece pack
The pack contains 70 cobalt blue glass dropper bottles of 100 ml each, without caps. Bottle height is approximately 130 mm, diameter approximately 52 mm, with a standard GL18 neck. The net weight per bottle is around 120 g, and the total gross weight of the pack is approximately 9.24 kg. The shape follows the typical dropper-bottle profile: a wide base, defined shoulders, and a neck that narrows from a straight shoulder line — they sit stably on a shelf, and any standard GL18 cap can be fitted.
Cobalt blue glass and light protection
Cobalt blue glass filters not only UV radiation but also the shorter wavelengths of visible light. This is particularly important for light-sensitive materials — citrus essential oils, cold-pressed butters, active-ingredient concentrates, and herbal tinctures. The cobalt colour also provides a distinctive appearance: it looks well on own-label product lines and collectable recipe series. Glass is chemically inert and contains no plasticisers, phthalates, or BPA.
Without a cap — free choice of closure
The 'without cap' version is a deliberate choice for those who already have suitable closures, or who want to use different caps with the same bottle family. The standard GL18 neck fits: solid aluminium caps (airtight storage), black pipette droppers (precise dispensing), child-resistant caps (family environment), tamper-evident dropper caps (authenticity guarantee), spray heads (water-based toilet waters, hydrosols). This way, the same 100 ml cobalt bottle can serve several different roles.
Areas of use
- Bottling your own natural cosmetic line
- Larger-volume filling of essential oil blends and perfume bases
- Cold-pressed facial and body oils, serums
- Botanical tinctures, herbal extracts, hydrosols
- Own-label products with a considered choice of closure
Cleaning and reuse
Rinse new bottles with warm soapy water and let them dry completely. Fragrance residue is best removed with isopropyl or food-grade alcohol: add a small amount, shake gently, and rinse out. Avoid the dishwasher, as high temperatures and dishwasher detergent can damage any labelling. The glass contains no heavy metals and can be recycled as ordinary glass waste, though it is even better to reuse it for further bottling.
