The 100 ml format is the 'working size' of the artisan cosmetics world: large enough that a serum formulation or body oil lasts for several weeks, yet still comfortable to hold and easy to dispense without a pump. This pack of 70 cobalt blue 100 ml dropper bottles is fitted with a black pipette dropper: the pipette is the classic tool for drop-by-drop dispensing and is accessible for home users.

What is included in the 70-piece pack

The pack contains 70 cobalt blue glass dropper bottles of 100 ml each, every one fitted with a black pipette dropper (glass pipette and black rubber teat). Bottle height is approximately 130 mm, diameter approximately 52 mm, with a standard GL18 neck. The weight per bottle with cap is around 120 g, and the total gross weight of the pack is approximately 9.24 kg. The pipette reaches down to the bottom of the bottle so even the last drops can be drawn up.

Cobalt blue glass and light protection

Cobalt blue glass effectively filters UV radiation and the shorter wavelengths of visible light. These are precisely the wavelengths that most rapidly degrade the terpene compounds of essential oils, the unsaturated fatty acids of cold-pressed oils, and active-ingredient concentrates. The deep cobalt colour significantly slows photo-oxidation, so preparations stored inside retain reliable quality for longer. The glass is chemically inert and transfers no plasticisers to the contents.

Black pipette dropper details

The pipette is made of glass with a plain, unmarked body and a black rubber teat. Squeezing the teat draws liquid into the pipette and allows for drop-by-drop dispensing. The length of the pipette is sized to reach the bottom of the 100 ml bottle, so there is no 'lost' volume at the base. The closure fits a GL18 neck and can easily be removed and cleaned separately.

Areas of use

Cleaning and reuse

Before first use, wash the bottle with warm water and a small amount of detergent, then rinse thoroughly. Essential oil residue is most effectively removed with isopropyl or food-grade alcohol. Remove the pipette from the bottle and detach the rubber teat from the glass tube. Rinse the glass tube with alcohol, wash the teat in warm soapy water, and allow everything to dry completely. If the teat has hardened or discoloured, replace it — this is a normal wear part.
