The combination of the 100 ml format and a black plastic screw cap is the most practical packaging form for everyday bottling of finished cosmetics. The screw cap is lightweight, robust, and visually matches the black glass (unified design), making it suitable for small business retail and private label products. This 70-piece pack contains 100 ml black glass bottles with black plastic screw caps.
What is in the pack of 70
70 black glass bottles of 100 ml + 70 black plastic screw caps. Height: ~130 mm, diameter: ~52 mm, empty weight: ~130 g per piece. Pack gross weight is approximately 10.01 kg. The screw cap fits the standard GL18 neck thread, with an internal liner. Country of origin: China.
Black glass and full light blocking in 100 ml
In the 100 ml format, light protection matters even more, because the contents remain in the bottle for a longer period (1-3 months of use). Opaque black glass blocks essentially the entire light spectrum, including the UV range and almost all wavelengths of visible light. This is particularly justified for finished cosmetics, massage oil bases, hydrosols, and diluted essential oil blends.
Screw cap details
The black plastic (typically PP, polypropylene) screw cap is lightweight, robust, and chemically resistant. The outer surface is ribbed, making it easier to grip with wet or oily hands. The internal liner provides a leak-proof seal. The plastic cap is a compromise: prolonged contact with pure essential oils (particularly citrus, eucalyptus, tea tree) can over time discolour or damage it, so for long-term storage of tinctures and pure essential oils we recommend the aluminium cap, while this screw cap is more suitable for finished cosmetics, body oils, and diluted blends.
Areas of use
- Bottling finished massage oils and body oils in 100 ml format
- Diluted essential oil blends (max 5-10% concentration)
- Storing hydrosols and floral waters
- DIY body lotion formulations
- Selling hair oils and skincare blends
Cleaning and reuse
Before filling, wash in warm water with washing-up liquid, rinse thoroughly, and let dry completely. Do not put the plastic cap in the dishwasher — prolonged high temperatures can deform it and weaken the liner. To remove residual scent, 70% isopropyl alcohol can be used. Glass and the plastic cap can be placed in separate recycling streams.
