The seven chakras and their affirmations
This garland follows the traditional colours of the seven chakras, with an affirmation assigned to each flag. The red root chakra evokes connection with Mother Earth's energy, the orange sacral chakra self-acceptance and creativity, the yellow solar plexus the flow of will and abundance, the green heart chakra the reception of love, and the blue throat chakra the finding of one's true voice. The upper two chakras are linked to inner vision and the sense of unity. We offer you not just colourful flags but also a quiet companion for a slow morning or evening practice.
How you can use the affirmations
Many people choose one flag at a time and read its affirmation in the morning when they arrive at the study. Others link the chakras to the days of the week, so on Monday they focus on the root, on Tuesday on the sacral, and so on. Still others like having the garland simply within sight without dedicating special time to it – the colours alone help remind one of a healthy inner balance. The depth at which you live with it is your own choice.
The advantages of viscose and the size
The flags are made from viscose, a soft-touch, well-ventilating textile with a natural feel. Each flag is 19 cm wide and 25 cm tall, giving a confident presence in an indoor corner. The 155 cm cord is ideal above a desk, between two bookshelves or above a meditation corner. The whole package weighs just 62 grams, so it is easy to hang.
Where we recommend it at home
Many use it for yoga or meditation practice because the seven-chakra colour sequence supports inner focus. It is also a popular choice for a child's or teenager's room because the affirmations speak in a positive, simple language. It also fits a showroom or a therapist's office, where it provides a quiet yet teaching atmosphere. Because of the single-sided print, it is worth hanging it so that the printed side faces you.
Material, finish and lifespan
Viscose is not weather-resistant, so we primarily recommend indoor use. If it ends up on a covered veranda, avoid direct rain and prolonged sunlight. A soft brush or microfibre cloth is enough against dust; do not use wet wiping. When moving, roll it up gently and wrap it in paper; this way it will preserve its vivid colours and the clarity of the print for many years.
