The bottle neck follows a standard size, so the vast majority of off-the-shelf caps on the market will fit. What kind of UV protection does the frosted grey glass provide?

The matte surface is produced by acid-etching and provides a mild light-diffusing effect: it scatters part of the visible light and reduces UV exposure as well. The protection does not match the UV-filtering capacity of classic amber glass, but it is noticeably better than plain clear glass. If you are storing extremely light-sensitive essential oils (for example citrus oils, chamomile, jasmine absolute) for a longer period, we recommend keeping the filled bottle in a cool, dark place, upright — together, the matte surface and dark storage provide the best protection.
