Not recommended. PET plastic has limited heat resistance: above 60 °C the bottle may deform or allow plastic components to migrate into the contents. If you are filling a homemade, hot-emulsified cosmetic (such as an emulsified body lotion), wait until the mixture has cooled to body or room temperature. For sterilisation, choose an alcohol rinse rather than the hot-water method.
