The Tamper-Evident (TE) Boreseal cap is a mark of customer safety on filled preparations: the lower security ring breaks off on first opening, so the customer can clearly see whether the bottle has been opened before. This pack of 50 contains black TE Boreseal caps fitted for GL18-GL52 neck standard bottles, WITHOUT a dropper pipette — only the cap.
What this 50-piece cap set is for
The pack contains 50 black plastic TE Boreseal caps in the GL18 to GL52 neck standard range. Each cap has a net weight of about 2 g, with the pack reaching a gross weight of 0.1 kg. The cap rim diameter varies between 18 and 28 mm depending on the neck standard. NOTE: the cap does NOT include a dropper pipette — it contains only the black outer cap.
Material and construction
The cap is made of black polypropylene (PP), which is well compatible with the most common essential oils and alcoholic tinctures. On the lower rim is a one-piece security ring; on the first turning motion the ring breaks along a pre-formed line and remains on the cap — visually signalling that the bottle has been opened. The Boreseal-type inner sealing closes airtight on the bottle neck rim.
Compatible bottles
The GL18-GL52 designation is a neck standard range: different bottle sizes (10 ml, 15 ml, 30 ml, 50 ml, 100 ml, 250 ml, etc.) fall under different GL numbers depending on the neck diameter. The cap fits correctly when the bottle's neck standard corresponds to that GL value. Before buying it is worth checking your own bottle stock's neck standard so the correct size goes into the basket.
What it is for: filling, tamper evidence, gifting
The TE cap is most useful when you intend to sell or give away your own preparations and want to guarantee the customer that the bottle they receive has not been opened previously. The black colour gives a clean, technical appearance. Since the cap contains no dropper, it is recommended only where the customer performs dispensing in another way (e.g. pouring directly out, or receiving a separate dropper pipette alongside).
Cleaning and storage
Because the security ring breaks off on first use, reuse is limited — the visual TE function is broken on the first opening. For cleaning, warm soapy water and 70% isopropyl alcohol are recommended. Country of origin: China.
