Material and honeycomb structure
The envelope is made of 100% kraft paper and does NOT contain an HDPE-based bubble film. Protection is provided by a honeycomb paper texture (hexagonal cells) sandwiched between the two paper layers: this structure cushions the contents with small cellulose chambers, fulfilling the mechanical role of a bubble lining on a purely paper-based basis. This means the entire envelope can be sorted into paper recycling, breaks down in both industrial and home compost, and leaves no lasting microplastic burden in the environment.
Size and use cases
The 235×350 mm outer size comfortably fits an A4 document set, a mid-sized book, a flat garment, a herbal pouch, or an organic cosmetic product set. The 40 mm flap leaves room for a clean seal, so the envelope does not need to be filled right to the edge. The honeycomb structure is slightly stiffer than a traditional bubble lining, so the envelope also holds its shape better during transit.
Closure and opening
The inside of the flap carries a self-adhesive strip that can be sealed in a single motion once the protective tape is removed. The envelope gets a secure, tamper-evident closure: the recipient can only access the contents by tearing the flap, so any reopening is visible. Since the whole structure is paper, the recipient can put the opened mailer into a single recycling bin — there is no need to separate plastic and paper layers.
Storage and shelf life
Store the envelopes in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight, either flat or in light stacks. Honeycomb paper can soften with moisture and the cells may deform — so storing directly on the floor or in a damp room such as a cellar or bathroom is not recommended. The adhesive strip's protective tape typically retains full tack for 12 to 18 months from production.
