When formulating natural cosmetics and bottling your own skincare recipes, the container matters just as much as the raw ingredients themselves. Many active components lose their potency rapidly when exposed to light and air — particularly carrier oils, hydrosols, and blends containing essential oils. This pack of 10 is designed for small business owners, cosmetics makers, and aromatherapy enthusiasts who wish to store or gift their preparations in larger (250 ml) format.
What is included in the 10-piece pack
10 amber (jantar) PET plastic bottles of 250 ml nominal capacity each. The bottles are supplied without caps, allowing you to add the closure that best fits your intended use (flip cap, screw cap, or spray head). Typical height is approximately 180 mm with a diameter of around 60 mm, and the unit net weight is 32 g. The total package gross weight is 0.32 kg.
Amber PET and UV protection
The amber-coloured PET filters out shorter wavelengths of visible light along with the UV spectrum, preventing the degradation of light-sensitive ingredients. You can fill these bottles with carrier oils, cold-process shampoos containing essential oils, or body lotions without concern over rapid oxidation. PET is a food-contact approved plastic, BPA-free and lightweight, which keeps the risk of breakage during shipping to a minimum.
Typical areas of use
- Bottling homemade shampoos and hair conditioners
- Storing larger volumes of massage oil bases and body oils
- Packaging homemade shower gels and liquid soaps
- Bulk storage of hydrosols and floral waters in a dark place
- DIY cleaning products and essential-oil based surface cleaners
Choosing a closure
The standard 28 mm neck accepts several closure types: flip cap, screw cap, or atomiser spray head. The no-cap configuration adds flexibility — you decide what kind of dispenser your finished product needs. Closures can be ordered separately or reused from existing bottles in your workshop.
Cleaning and recycling
Before first use, wash the bottle with warm water and a mild detergent, then rinse thoroughly. After strongly scented contents (such as citrus essential oils), it is worth rinsing with denatured alcohol to eliminate residual odour. PET is heat-sensitive, so avoid hot water or dishwasher cleaning. The bottle is fully recyclable (RIC 1 marking).
