Amber glass and UV protection
Amber glass blocks UV radiation and the shorter wavelengths of visible light. These are the wavelengths that initiate the oxidation of essential oils and botanical extracts. Stored in amber glass, the scent profile and active ingredient content of preparations remain stable for much longer. Glass is inert, does not react with essential oils and does not migrate substances into the contents.
Pipette dropper — details
The pipette is glass with a black rubber bulb on top. Pressing the bulb draws liquid up into the glass pipette, which can then be released drop by drop. This dispensing method is particularly useful when adding one or two drops to a blend or working with precise ratios. The rubber bulb is compatible with the most common essential oils, but extended storage is not recommended: if it remains in a bottle for many days, switching to an aluminium cap for storage is advisable.

Cleaning and maintenance
To clean the pipette, use warm water and food-grade alcohol. Do not boil the rubber bulb, as it can deform. Switching to a fresh pipette between recipes helps avoid scent crossover. For longer-term storage an aluminium cap is preferable — the pipette is best suited to the active use phase.
