Smoky grey glass and light protection
The smoky grey, translucent glass effectively filters shorter wavelengths of visible light and part of the UV spectrum — these photocatalysts trigger oxidation and active-ingredient degradation in sensitive volatile compounds. The smoky grey tone gives the finished product a distinctive, refined character, while the glass itself remains chemically inert: it does not react with essential oils and contains no plasticisers or other migratable substances that may occur with plastic containers.

Cleaning and storage
Before first use, wash the bottles in warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly with clean water. To sterilise, you can also place clean, empty glass bottles in an oven at 100-120 °C for 15-20 minutes. Dishwasher use is permitted, but the high temperature may cause any labels to detach, so hand-washing is preferable. Store clean, dry bottles upright in a cool, dark place until filling.
