Airtight sealing is essential for the long-term storage of essential oil concentrates and valuable botanical extracts: oxygen oxidises sensitive components and volatile aromas escape. This pack of 168 contains 100 ml smoky grey dropper bottles, each fitted with a solid aluminium cap — ideal for small businesses, essential oil creators, and natural cosmetics makers who want to combine reliable closure with a refined, modern look.
What the 168-piece pack contains
168 smoky grey (translucent) 100 ml glass dropper bottles and 168 solid aluminium caps. Height per bottle is approximately 130 mm, diameter 52 mm, empty weight around 120 g per piece, with a total gross pack weight of 22.18 kg. The bottles use a standard GL18 neck finish, so other caps from the family are also compatible.
Smoky grey glass and light protection
The smoky grey, translucent glass effectively filters shorter wavelengths of visible light and part of the UV spectrum — these photocatalysts trigger oxidation in essential oils. The glass is chemically inert: it does not react with essential oils and contains no plasticisers. The smoky grey tone gives the finished product a refined character, while the outline of the contents shows through discreetly.
Advantages of the aluminium cap
The aluminium cap provides a solid, metallic closure that is airtight and leak-proof, while remaining chemically inert: it does not react with essential oils, does not impart off-flavours or odours, and contains no BPA, phthalates, or other plasticisers. It is particularly recommended for preparations where citrus or high-monoterpene essential oils could soften a traditional plastic cap over longer periods. Aluminium is also 100 percent recyclable, which is an important consideration for natural cosmetics makers.

Cleaning and recycling
Wash the glass bottles in warm, soapy water; for stubborn fragrance residue, a 70 percent isopropyl alcohol rinse helps. Clean the aluminium cap with warm, soapy water as well, then dry thoroughly, as the internal liner can deteriorate over time from residual moisture. Avoid the dishwasher, as high temperatures and detergents can affect the cap liner, and any labels may detach. The aluminium cap can be recycled with metal waste in local separate collection.
