The 20 ml amber glass bottle is one of the most popular members of the intermediate size class: large enough to hold an average essential oil blend or serum, yet still hand-friendly and travel-practical. This 156-piece pack is supplied without caps, allowing you to freely choose the closure that best suits your project.
What this 156-piece pack contains
You receive 156 empty 20 ml nominal capacity amber dropper bottles, supplied without caps. The bottles are approximately 75 mm tall with a 30 mm diameter and an empty unit weight of roughly 30 g. The total package weight is around 5.15 kg. The neck uses a standard GL18 thread, compatible with most aluminium, pipette dropper, childproof and tamper-evident caps — which can be ordered separately.
Amber glass and UV protection
Amber glass is one of the golden rules for storing essential oils, botanical extracts and sensitive cosmetic preparations. The amber hue filters out the shorter wavelengths of visible light and most of the UV spectrum — the photocatalysts responsible for triggering oxidation of volatile compounds, distortion of the scent profile and loss of active ingredients. Glass is also chemically inert: it does not react with the contents and contains no plasticisers or other migratable substances.
Why no cap is included
Many makers and artisans already have their preferred cap collection, or wish to use different closures for different projects: solid aluminium caps for stock storage, pipette droppers for blending, childproof caps for households with children, tamper-evident caps for products destined for the market. The cap-free format allows you to freely combine each bottle with its appropriate closure.
Areas of use

- Storage of natural face serums and skincare oils
- Dispensing of botanical tinctures and hydrosols
- Perfume bases, colognes and fragrance compositions
- Private-label (DIY) cosmetic development
Cleaning and reuse
Wash empty bottles in warm soapy water, then rinse with clean water. For stubborn scent residue, rinse with food-grade alcohol and leave to dry upside down. Avoid the dishwasher, as the high temperature and aggressive detergents may damage any labels. Glass is infinitely recyclable.
