The 15 ml cobalt blue glass dropper bottles offer special protection for light-sensitive preparations. This 156-piece pack is intended for essential oil creators, cosmetic formulators, and aromatherapy artisans who work with larger volumes and consider light blocking a priority in storage.
What is included in the 156-piece pack
156 cobalt blue glass dropper bottles, each with a nominal 15 ml fill capacity and a black plastic screw cap. The height of one bottle is approximately 65 mm and the diameter is 28 mm. The total gross weight of the pack is around 5.15 kg, and an empty bottle with cap weighs roughly 30 g together. The cap connects with a standard GL18 thread, so it can easily be swapped for a pipette or dropper cap.
Cobalt blue glass and the benefit of light filtering
Cobalt blue glass absorbs not only the ultraviolet range but also part of the shorter wavelengths of visible light. This dual protection is beneficial for preparations containing sensitive volatile compounds: the terpene compounds of essential oils, the alkaloids of tinctures, and the fatty acids of botanical oils all oxidise more slowly in this type of container. Glass is chemically inert, contains no plasticisers, BPA, or migratable additives, and adds no off-flavour or odour to the contents.
Details of the black plastic screw cap
The black screw cap provides a tight, airtight seal. Its inner liner prevents the evaporation of volatile components and reduces oxidation by air. The plastic cap is lightweight, impact-resistant, and corrosion-free, so it is well suited to active use. It can easily be labelled and fits neatly into uniform product series.
Areas of use

- Storing perfume bases, colognes, and scented serums
- Filling natural cosmetics (facial serums, body oils)
- Dispensing botanical tinctures, hydrosols, and flower essences
- DIY beauty products and own-brand creation for small business owners
Cleaning and reuse
Before and after use, the bottles can be rinsed in warm soapy water. For stubborn scent residue, pure ethyl alcohol (70%) is recommended: a few millilitres in the bottle, left to stand for several hours, then thoroughly rinsed will remove the remaining traces. Avoid dishwasher use if there is a label or printed surface on the bottle. After complete drying, the bottles can be refilled — glass is highly recyclable and can be reused many times.
