The combination of an amber alchemist-style bottle and a black-bulb glass pipette is one of the classic tools of aromatherapy and perfume-making. This pack of 140 is designed for small-business makers and crafters who prefer precise drop-by-drop dispensing and work with natural scent materials in meaningful volumes.
What this pack of 140 contains
140 amber glass bottles with a nominal 10 ml fill capacity, and 140 glass pipette droppers fitted with a black rubber bulb. Each bottle is approximately 57 mm tall and 24 mm in diameter. The pipette extends approximately 75 mm above the full bottle height, with a glass stem of around 20 mm in diameter. The pack's total weight is approximately 4.9 kg. The vintage apothecary form displays well in self-labelled product ranges.
Amber glass and UV protection
Amber-coloured glass effectively absorbs the shorter wavelengths of visible light and the ultraviolet range — precisely those photocatalysts that trigger the oxidation of volatile compounds. Stored in amber glass, essential oils, perfume concentrates, and botanical tinctures retain their original scent profile and active content significantly longer. Glass is chemically inert: it does not react with the contents.
Pipette dropper details
The dropper consists of a glass stem and a black silicone or rubber suction bulb. The glass pipette comes into direct contact with the contents, preserving chemical inertness — citrus or other strong essential oils do not dissolve the pipette material. The black rubber bulb assists with drawing up liquid and controlled dispensing: gentle pressure provides precise, drop-level control. The clear glass stem also makes the liquid visible, so it is easy to check the remaining quantity.

Cleaning and maintenance
Before filling, wash each bottle with warm water and mild soap, then rinse with alcohol to neutralise residual aromatic substances, and allow to dry completely. The pipette must be cleaned separately: the glass stem can be rinsed with alcohol, the rubber bulb should be disassembled and washed in warm soapy water, then dried thoroughly. Do not place it in the dishwasher, as heat and chemicals can soften the rubber.
