For long-term storage of aggressive oils (citrus, cinnamon) an aluminium cap is recommended.

Cleaning and storage
Before filling, rinse the bottles with warm soapy water and degrease with 70% isopropyl alcohol. Stronger scent residue can also be removed with an alcohol rinse. The dishwasher should be avoided. Store the finished product in a cool, dark place because of the clear glass. Empty, clean glass is fully recyclable; place the cap in the appropriate recycling stream.
