This pack of 110 clear glass dropper bottles of 30 ml is intended for small-business owners, makers, and home formulators who want to bottle their essential oil blends or cosmetic preparations with a aluminium cap. The advantage of clear glass is that the liquid level and colour remain visible from outside; in return it offers no UV filtering, so light-sensitive oils should be kept in cool, dark storage.
What the pack of 110 contains
The package contains 110 clear glass dropper bottles with a nominal capacity of 30 ml, each with a matching aluminium cap. Height ~85 mm, diameter ~35 mm. Total gross weight ~6.05 kg (~50 g net empty per bottle). Standard GL18 neck.
Clear glass — advantages and limits
Clear glass has one main benefit: visibility. The fill level, colour, and clarity of the liquid can always be checked from outside. This is particularly useful for coloured serums, infused oils, and flower essences, and at craft markets where visual appeal is a selling point. At the same time, the glass does not filter UV radiation — light-sensitive essential oils (citrus, many floral notes) lose their scent profile sooner than in amber glass. Store in a cool, dark place (closed cabinet) and keep the finished product out of direct sunlight. Otherwise glass is ideal: chemically inert, no off-flavours, plasticiser-free, fully recyclable.
Cap details
The aluminium cap is a solid metal closure that provides an airtight seal. Chemically inert: it does not react with essential oils, does not let odours permeate, and is BPA- and phthalate-free. Particularly suitable for the long-term storage of more aggressive essential oils (citrus, cinnamon, clove). Easily recyclable.
Typical areas of use
- Bottling own essential oil blends, where visible colour adds decorative value
- Storing coloured facial serums, infused botanical oils, flower essences
- Tinctures and hydrosols with precise drop-by-drop dosing
- Products sold at craft markets, where customers want to see the contents
- DIY household scent blends, roller-perfume base testing
Cleaning and storage
Before filling, rinse the bottles with warm soapy water and degrease with 70% isopropyl alcohol. Stronger scent residue can also be removed with an alcohol rinse. The dishwasher should be avoided. Store the finished product in a cool, dark place because of the clear glass. Empty, clean glass is fully recyclable; place the cap in the appropriate recycling stream.
