Origin and production
The oil is sourced from Egypt, from traditional geranium-growing regions in the Nile Delta where irrigated cultivation supports a high oil yield. It is produced by steam distillation from the leaves, twigs and flowers. This method carries the volatile aromatic compounds with water vapour, keeping thermal load limited.
