Product EOUL-40 is a 10-piece, unlabelled set: ten 10 ml glass bottles, each filled with pure Somali Commiphora myrrha essential oil. The set is intended for crafters, cosmetic formulators, aromatherapists and entrepreneurs building a private-label product line.
What the 10-piece set contains
The package includes 10 identical 10 ml amber glass bottles, each filled with steam-distilled Commiphora myrrha essential oil. The bottles arrive without labels, so you can apply your own branding, dosage instructions or design. Net content is 10 ml per bottle and the total weight is approximately 0.41 kg.
Botany: Commiphora myrrha
Myrrh is the essential oil obtained from the resin that exudes from the wounded bark of the Commiphora myrrha shrub. Its characteristic compounds include furanoeudesmane-type sesquiterpenes, which produce the warm, balsamic, resinous-earthy aroma profile. It has been used as an aromatic ingredient since antiquity.
Origin and production
The oil is sourced from Somalia, from traditional myrrh-harvesting regions, where the resin is hand-collected from tree trunks. It is produced by steam distillation from the dried resin tears. This method carries the volatile aromatic compounds with water vapour, with limited thermal load.
Applications
- Private-label cosmetics: scenting serums and balms for mature skin
- Aromatherapy: meditation diffuser blends, pillow sprays
- Soap and candle making: cold-process soap, soy wax candles
- Perfumery: base note in oriental and resinous compositions
- Incense and ointment: traditional ritual preparations
Storage and shelf life
Store the essential oil in a cool, dark place, preferably below 25 °C, in a tightly closed bottle. Protected from light and heat, Commiphora myrrha oil typically keeps for 2-3 years. Unopened bottles retain quality longer; once opened, it is advisable to use the content within 12 months.
