Product EOUL-37 is a 10-piece, unlabelled set: ten 10 ml glass bottles, each filled with pure Paraguayan Citrus aurantium var. amara (petitgrain, bitter orange tree) essential oil. The set is intended for crafters, cosmetic formulators, aromatherapists and entrepreneurs building a private-label product line.
What the 10-piece set contains
The package includes 10 identical 10 ml amber glass bottles, each filled with steam-distilled Citrus aurantium var. amara essential oil. The bottles arrive without labels, so you can apply your own branding, dosage instructions or design. Net content is 10 ml per bottle and the total weight is approximately 0.42 kg.
Botany
Petitgrain is the essential oil obtained from the leaves and young twigs of Citrus aurantium var. amara (bitter orange tree), distinct from neroli, which is distilled from the blossoms, and from bitter orange oil, which is pressed from the peel. The name 'petitgrain' comes from the French for 'little grain', as it was originally distilled from unripe, small fruits. The characteristic fresh, green-floral aroma profile is due to high linalyl acetate and linalool content.
Origin and production
The oil is sourced from Paraguay, from the traditional petitgrain plantations of the South American region. Paraguayan petitgrain (Petitgrain Paraguay) is the perfumery industry's standard quality. It is produced by steam distillation of young leaves and twigs. The method preserves the delicate, fresh-floral aroma profile.
Applications
- Private-label cosmetics: toners, refreshing emulsions, natural deodorants
- Aromatherapy: diffuser blends for restful, stress-relieving atmospheres for evening use
- Perfumery: heart note of classic eau de cologne formulas, building block of fresh compositions
- Soap and candle making: cold-process soap, fresh-floral candles
- Aftershave preparations: as a calming, refreshing aromatic component
Storage and shelf life
Store the essential oil in a cool, dark place, preferably below 25 °C, in a tightly closed bottle. Protected from light and heat, Citrus aurantium var. amara petitgrain oil typically keeps for 2-3 years. Unopened bottles retain quality longer; once opened, it is advisable to use the content within 12 months.
