Amber glass and UV protection
Amber glass filters both the UV spectrum and the shorter wavelengths of visible light. These photocatalysts trigger the oxidation of volatile compounds in essential oils, carrier oils, and tinctures. Stored in amber glass, your preparations retain their original scent profile, colour, and active ingredient content significantly longer. Glass is chemically inert: it does not react with oils and contains no plasticisers.

The bottle neck is a standard GL18 thread, so aluminium caps, glass pipette droppers, childproof caps, and tamper-evident dropper caps will all screw on directly. Cleaning and reuse
Clean the bottles by soaking in warm water with a neutral detergent. For stubborn scent residues, rinse with 70% isopropyl alcohol and dry thoroughly. Avoid the dishwasher, as the intense heat and alkaline detergents can damage any labelling or printed surface. Properly cleaned glass bottles can be refilled many times, and at the end of their life they can be placed in the glass recycling stream.
