Product EOUL-57 is a 10-piece, unlabelled set: ten 10 ml glass bottles, each filled with pure Chinese Cinnamomum camphora (white camphor) essential oil. The set is intended for crafters, cosmetic formulators, aromatherapists and entrepreneurs building a private-label product line.
What the 10-piece set contains
The package includes 10 identical 10 ml glass bottles, each filled with steam-distilled Cinnamomum camphora essential oil. The bottles arrive without labels, so you can apply your own branding, dosage instructions or design. Net content is 10 ml per bottle and the total weight is approximately 0.41 kg.
Botany: the white camphor fraction
The camphor tree (Cinnamomum camphora) yields several distillation fractions. The white fraction is the most volatile, with a high 1,8-cineole and alpha-pinene content and a fresh, eucalyptus-mint aroma. The brown and yellow fractions are richer in safrole and are not recommended for cosmetic use. The white fraction is the standard for refreshing and antiseptic applications.
Origin and production
The oil is sourced from China, from the native range of Cinnamomum camphora. It is produced by steam distillation from chipped wood and root material. The crude oil is then fractionated, and only the light, white fraction is bottled for cosmetic and aromatherapy use.
Applications
- Private-label cosmetics: muscle-easing massage oil bases, warming balms
- Aromatherapy: air-freshening diffuser blends, inhalation mixes
- Insect-repellent compositions: diffuser blends against moths and mosquitoes
- Soap making: fresh top note in cold-process soap
- Household scenting: refreshing component in cleaning blends
Storage and shelf life
Store the essential oil in a cool, dark place, preferably below 25 °C, in a tightly closed bottle. Protected from light and heat, white camphor oil typically keeps for 2-3 years. Unopened bottles retain quality longer; once opened, it is advisable to use the content within 12 months.
