What the 10-piece set contains
The package includes 10 identical 10 ml amber glass bottles, each filled with Citrus aurantium flower oil at 5% strength in grapeseed oil. The dilution makes the otherwise very expensive pure neroli oil affordable. The bottles arrive without labels, so you can apply your own branding, dosage instructions or design. Net content is 10 ml per bottle and the total weight is approximately 0.41 kg.
Botany
Neroli is the essential oil obtained from the fresh white blossoms of the Citrus aurantium (bitter orange) tree. The name comes from Anne Marie Orsini di Nerola, an Italian princess from the 17th century. The characteristic floral, honeyed-green aroma is created by a blend of linalool, β-pinene and linalyl acetate. Producing one drop of pure neroli requires nearly 1 kg of blossoms, which is why diluted forms make it accessible.
Origin and production
The oil is sourced from Tunisia, from the traditional bitter-orange plantations of the southern Mediterranean coast. It is produced by water distillation of hand-picked blossoms, and the concentrated oil is then diluted in grapeseed oil to 5% strength. This method preserves the delicate floral aroma profile.
