Product EOUL-61 is a 10-piece, unlabelled set: ten 10 ml glass bottles, each filled with a Melissa-scent essential oil blend (a composition of fractionated essential oils). The set is intended for crafters, cosmetic formulators, aromatherapists and entrepreneurs building a private-label product line.
What the 10-piece set contains
The package includes 10 identical 10 ml glass bottles, each filled with a carefully composed Melissa-profile essential oil blend. The bottles arrive without labels, so you can apply your own branding, dosage instructions or design. Net content is 10 ml per bottle and the total weight is approximately 0.41 kg.
What the Melissa blend is and why it exists
True lemon balm (Melissa officinalis) essential oil has an extremely low yield (3-7 kg of fresh herb to produce 1 ml of oil), which makes the pure oil very expensive. The Melissa blend combines fractionated essential oils whose aromatic profile approximates true lemon balm: citral (from lemongrass), lemon oil, D-limonene (from orange), ho oil and beta-caryophyllene. The result is a fresh, citrus-floral, calming aroma at an accessible price.
Origin and composition
The components are sourced from various origins (mixed) and combined in the United Kingdom into a uniform scent profile. Most components are produced by steam distillation, while citrus fractions are cold-pressed. The final blend is undiluted.
Applications
- Private-label cosmetics: scenting calming, fresh facial toners and body lotions
- Aromatherapy: relaxing, stress-easing diffuser blends
- Soap making: lemon-balm-like note in cold-process soap
- Perfumery: top note in fresh, citrus compositions
- Candle making: soothing lemon-balm scent in soy wax candles
Storage and shelf life
Store the essential oil blend in a cool, dark place, preferably below 25 °C, in a tightly closed bottle. Due to the high citrus fraction content, the blend is sensitive to oxidation and light. Unopened, shelf life is typically 2 years; once opened, use within 9-12 months.
