Product EOUL-28 is a 10-piece, unlabelled set: ten 10 ml glass bottles, each filled with pure Indian Cymbopogon citratus (lemongrass) essential oil. The set is intended for crafters, cosmetic formulators, aromatherapists and entrepreneurs building a private-label product line.
What the 10-piece set contains
The package includes 10 identical 10 ml amber glass bottles, each filled with steam-distilled Cymbopogon citratus essential oil. The bottles arrive without labels, so you can apply your own branding, dosage instructions or design. Net content is 10 ml per bottle and the total weight is approximately 0.41 kg.
Botany
Lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus) is a tropical perennial grass in the Poaceae family. Its characteristic lemony aroma is due to a high citral content (geranial + neral), giving the fresh leaves their distinctive, fresh-uplifting scent. The species differs from the insect-repellent Cymbopogon nardus (citronella), although they are close relatives.
Origin and production
The oil is sourced from India, from traditional lemongrass-growing regions. It is produced by steam distillation of fresh or lightly dried leaves. This method carries the volatile aromatic compounds with water vapour, keeping thermal load limited and preserving the characteristic lemony scent profile.
Applications
- Private-label cosmetics: scenting facial cleansers and foot-care creams
- Aromatherapy: diffuser blends for uplifting, focus-supporting atmospheres
- Soap and candle making: cold-process soap, soy wax candles as a fresh note
- Room blends: base for diffuser and pillow-spray formulas
- Natural household products: scented surface cleaner concentrates
Storage and shelf life
Store the essential oil in a cool, dark place, preferably below 25 °C, in a tightly closed bottle. Protected from light and heat, Cymbopogon citratus oil typically keeps for 2-3 years. Unopened bottles retain quality longer; once opened, it is advisable to use the content within 12 months.
