Product EOUL-17 is a 10-piece, unlabelled set: ten 10 ml glass bottles, each filled with Omani Boswellia carterii essential oil at 5% dilution in grape seed oil. The set is intended for crafters, cosmetic formulators, aromatherapists and entrepreneurs building a private-label product line.
What the 10-piece set contains
The package includes 10 identical 10 ml amber glass bottles, each filled with steam-distilled Boswellia carterii essential oil diluted to 5% in grape seed oil. The bottles arrive without labels, so you can apply your own branding, dosage instructions or design. Net content is 10 ml per bottle and the total weight is approximately 0.41 kg.
Botany: Boswellia carterii
Frankincense (Boswellia carterii) is a tree of the semi-arid regions of the Horn of Africa and the Arabian Peninsula. The dried resin tapped from the bark yields a light, woody-balsamic essential oil. Its alpha-pinene, limonene and caryophyllene content provides the meditative, calming character valued in aromatherapy and meditation practices.
Origin and production
The oil is sourced from Oman, a traditional Boswellia growing area. It is produced by steam distillation from the dried resin. Because the pure oil is highly concentrated, this format is supplied at 5% dilution in a grape seed oil carrier, so it can be incorporated directly into skin preparations.
Applications
- Private-label cosmetics: scenting facial oils for mature skin and regenerating serums
- Aromatherapy: diffuser blends for meditative, calming compositions
- Massage oil base: added directly to relaxing massage oils
- Soap and candle making: cold-process soap and soy wax candles with woody-balsamic scent
- Perfumery: base note in oriental and spicy compositions
Storage and shelf life
Store the essential oil in a cool, dark place, preferably below 25 °C, in a tightly closed bottle. Protected from light and heat, frankincense oil typically keeps for 2-3 years. Unopened bottles retain quality longer; once opened, it is advisable to use the content within 12 months.
