The bottles arrive without labels, so you can apply your own branding, dosage instructions or design. Net content is 10 ml per bottle and the total weight is approximately 0.41 kg.
Botany: Eucalyptus globulus
Tasmanian blue gum (Eucalyptus globulus) is a tall tree in the myrtle family, native to Australia and now cultivated on several continents. The leading component of its essential oil is 1,8-cineole (eucalyptol), which provides a clean, mentholated and camphoraceous, respiratory-cooling aroma. Other eucalyptus species, such as lemon-scented eucalyptus (Corymbia citriodora), have different chemotypes and a distinct application profile.
Origin and production
The oil is sourced from China, from large-scale eucalyptus plantations where the rapid growth of the tree ensures a steady supply of raw material. It is produced by steam distillation from the fresh leaves and twigs. This method carries the volatile aromatic compounds with water vapour, keeping thermal load limited and preserving the high cineole content.
Applications
- Private-label cosmetics: shower gel, scalp-care shampoo, muscle-relaxing body care
- Aromatherapy: diffuser blends for refreshing the breath, winter season diffuser compositions
- Soap and candle making: cold-process soap, soy wax candles with a fresh note
- Perfumery: cooling top note in sporty, fresh compositions
- Gift packaging: small-batch resale with custom labelling
Storage and shelf life
Store the essential oil in a cool, dark place, preferably below 25 °C, in a tightly closed bottle. Protected from light and heat, Eucalyptus globulus oil typically keeps for 2-3 years. Unopened bottles retain quality longer; once opened, it is advisable to use the content within 12 months, as oxygen gradually alters the aromatic profile.
